Beginning in Hue, the one time political capital you will explore the history of the town when you visit the Imperial Citadel, before cruising the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, the tallest of its kind in Vietnam. After cycling a country loop of Hue through winding lanes and lush countryside, passing local villages, you will leave Hue for the quaint charm of Hoi An, a delightful old trading town that has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Hoi An you will visit My Son the ancient centre of Cham civilization, on what will no doubt be a highlight of your Vietnam cycle tour.
